PERMOBIL RELEASES 3-D SEQUEL

Due to the overwhelming success of their first ever product launch utilizing 3-D technology, Permobil, Inc., commissioned Nashville-based DNA Creative Marketing to promote another power wheelchair in their pediatric product line—the K300 PS Jr.

Sales of the first chair—the K450 MX—greatly exceeded expectations, and the creative garnered both an ADDY and a Telly Award. Building on this momentum, the sequel mirrored the first campaign by featuring an actual Permobil user as the main character. The scenario revolved around A.J. Prescott dressed as a super hero saving the day, along with his trusty dog Jasper, in his Permobil K300 PS Jr. Elements of the campaign included: a full-color print ad for consumer and trade publications, a 3-D poster, web video and banner ad.

“As with the first 3-D campaign we did for Permobil, we had a great time producing this one,” said Dale Addy, Partner at DNA Creative Marketing. “The web video really captured A.J.’s amazing personality and highlighted the fact that children are children no matter what their abilities or challenges may be.”

Permobil has been committed to enhancing the lives of the physically challenged for 40 years. Founded in Sweden, Permobil has its North American headquarters in Lebanon, TN. More information regarding the company’s storied history and complete product line can be obtained at www.permobil.com.
